Hahaha! Right?? I have used fan brushes like twice for acrylics. I will say that it was fun to attempt and I could see using them for some wet on wet textures for landscapes. Or maybe additive textures for portraiture if you wanted a design feel sweeping across the person or background. I'm thinking of having a showcase with different types of brushes and challenging myself to use only that brush for an entire day... >.< I definitely think these would be good for juicy gouaches but I'm hesitant to try in gouaches that have already dried (even if I let some water sit on them for awhile). They're synthetic, but they're a little softer than my "cost efficient" ones. Although...come to think of it....I have been using my natural hair for dried gouache..... hmmmmmmmmm.......

I'd just not paint on fan brush day! 😂 I think I'm good on fan brush, but even with oil/acrylic I'd still be curious who the heck are using these brushes?! I need to get some nice sturdy synthetics for gouache I feel like an abusive owner subject my brushes to gouache

The Jetstream + Brush Pen is given with the A6 Techo, A6 English Planner and A5 Cousin. The Jetstream is only given with the Weeks book. The Brush Pen is only given with the 5 year Techo in A6 and A5. This information is always shown after you click the yellow box of the item you've chosen to order ( "Select item and add to card"). It is also shown on the main Hobonichi page (left side, you need to scroll down a bit) under Shopping Information, Hobonichi Store Exclusives.

FarlyCreates Yes I have love the products so far, although it is early days for me this being only the second year I bought for (my first was last year). For example I learned that Galen Leather in Turkey with their wonderful and well loved leather stationery accessories sells Tomoe River paper notebooks too. Or comparing Hobonichi’s plain notebooks with Midori’s MD notebooks etc. Hobonichi is a winner as far as their “planning system” go for me. Their covers are also super cute and super light. Although I dislike how much plastic they use. I found you on Twitch! I am a bit lost there but slowly learning! Looking forward to seeing how you go next year with your Hobonichi!
